For Peace of Mind when travelling with Wendy Wu Tours
Wendy Wu Tours are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for our passengers, working with our airline and in-country partners to take measures to protect you from contracting and spreading Covid-19.
All passengers travelling with Wendy Wu Tours are required to be fully vaccinated at the time of travel, and must be able to present their Covid-19 vaccination credentials in digital or paper format to prove their vaccination status. Failure to do so will prevent customers from being able to join their Wendy Wu Tour.
This decision has been made for the safety and wellbeing of our customers and to ensure that all our customers are able to enjoy the full experience of our tours, including entry to all included sites, meals and experiences.
It is the responsibility of each Wendy Wu Tours passenger to check that they meet all entry criteria of the host country prior to departure. Wendy Wu Tours is not liable for any passenger being refused entry to a host country for any reason. Passengers are also responsible for any charges for testing, vaccination and / or cancellation fees arising from being unable to provide their vaccination evidence.
We are constantly reviewing the situation and we reserve the right to amend this policy at a suitable time, depending on safety and operational factors.
For more information about how we are keeping customers safe on tour, please visit our Travel with Confidence page.
Please note: this policy applies to all bookings, including those made prior to 2021
Our definition of ‘fully vaccinated’ mirrors that of our airline and host country partners; a customer must have received their full doses of the COVID-19 vaccination at least 14 days before travelling with us. All customers must be able to provide evidence of their vaccination status if asked to do so. You can do this digitally with the NHS app or with a paper copy that can be requested from the NHS. You should carry your vaccination documents on holiday with you and keep them safe, as you would all other travel documents.
For the safety and wellbeing of our passengers, we have made the decision that all customers must be fully vaccinated to join one of our tours. Therefore, if you have chosen not to be vaccinated, sadly we will not be able to take you on tour at this time. Please contact us for your options. We are constantly reviewing the situation for any changes and reserve the right to amend this policy, dependent on safety and operational factors.
Being able to prove you meet our Covid-19 vaccination policy will now become a condition of booking with us and detailed within our terms and conditions. Your booking confirmation documents will require you to check that you meet our requirements. Nearer the time of your trip departure, we will send you a self-declaration form to complete confirming your vaccination status and providing us with any evidence we require.
If you are medically exempt from receiving the Covid-19 vaccination, please contact us to discuss your options. Please note that many of our tours visit countries which have vaccination as a requirement to entry, so you may not be able to enter a country without being fully vaccinated.
As the safety and wellbeing of our passengers is our number one priority, it is a requirement that our key staff on tour must be either fully vaccinated or can provide a negative test result before meeting our passengers. Vaccination against COVID-19 is an important tool in helping to prevent infection and reduce hospitalisation. In accordance with public health advice, and as an integral part of our health and safety measures, we strongly encourage all passengers and staff to participate in ongoing vaccination programmes, where it is safe to do so.
Please note that many of our host countries have vaccination as a requirement to entry, so you may not be able to enter a country without being fully vaccinated. Please contact us to discuss your options.
