  • Is my trip going ahead? 
     
    We are pleased to report that borders are now opening and more and more of our tours are able to depart every month. We will be providing regular updates on this page. For destinations yet to open, we will be contacting all our passengers in departure date order to discuss their options. 
     
  • What options do I have if my trip is cancelled? 
     
    If your trip is unable to depart, we will work with you to help rearrange your holiday to suit you – giving you the choice to change your dates or even your destination. 
     
    We are seeing strong demand for 2023 and 2024 holidays and we have been working hard behind-the-scenes with our in-country partners to ensure that we can honour your current?price, if you postpone your tour (and the tour is otherwise like-for-like.) 
     
  • What happens if I do not want to make a decision about rebooking my trip now?
    We understand that travel plans may be uncertain right now. Therefore, we can also offer you a Wendy Wu Tours travel credit for when you are ready to rebook. 
    This travel credit can be used towards any destination that Wendy Wu Tours features and is valid for you to depart the UK up to and including 31 December 2023 (subject to the airlines amendment policy on your booking)
     
  • What happens if I want a full refund?
    We understand that some of our clients may prefer to receive a full refund; please contact us and we will discuss this with you in more detail.
     
  • Shall I pay my outstanding balance?

    For destinations which are not yet open, Wendy Wu Tours will relax your balance due dates until closer to the planned departure date. At this point we will be able to make a more informed decision as to whether the tour can operate. 

    If you have booked through a Travel Agent, you will need to double check with them in regard to your agreed payment terms. 
     
  • What if Wendy Wu Tours goes out of business?

    Wendy Wu Tours have been a secure global business for 25 years and, thanks to prudent financial management, look forward to the future with the utmost confidence. If you are concerned about the extremely unlikely event of our financial failure - any monies paid to Wendy Wu Tours or your travel agent are financially protected through ATOL and ABTA schemes. 

  • What do I do about applying for my visa?

    Visa requirements are changing frequently and so we currently recommend waiting until 6 weeks prior to your departure date before applying for your visa.  
    If a visa is required for your trip, we will be in touch to explain what you need to do. The cost of your visa is included in your Wendy Wu Tours package.  
  • Do I need to be fully vaccinated to travel with Wendy Wu Tours? 

    All passengers travelling with Wendy Wu Tours are required to be fully vaccinated at the time of travel. This decision has been made for the safety and wellbeing of our customers and to ensure that all our customers are able to enjoy the full experience of our tours, including entry to all included sites and experiences. Please refer to our Covid-19 vaccination policy for more information.
  • Do I need to do a Covid-19 test before I travel?  

    Every country has their own unique entry requirements and these are changing all the time. We will let you know the latest entry requirements for your trip when we send you your pre-departure documents. However we also recommend you check the FCDO travel website often, as requirements can change quite quickly. If a Covid-19 test is required for travel to your destination, we will let you know and provide you with the information you need to arrange your test. The cost of the test is not included as part of your package.
     
  • Will I be required to have a further test when I arrive? 

    This will depend on local requirements but we will let you know in advance if this is the case. 
     
  • Will social distancing be in place throughout the holiday?  

    We have been working closely with our teams on the ground to ensure we are adhering to all local guidance and restrictions. We will do everything possible to take care of your safety on tour, however please note that each destination has its own rules or guidelines in place, so safety measures will differ from one destination to the next.   • What happens if I test positive for Covid-19 during my trip?

    If someone in your group displays Covid-19 symptoms during your trip, your tour guide will make arrangements for that individual to have a PCR test. The tour guide will also be on hand to make onward travel and/or accommodation arrangements whatever the outcome of the test.
    Please note that the costs of any testing or isolation required due to being taken ill during your trip will need to be covered by your travel insurance.

  • Will I need to wear a face covering on the coach? 

    No - we only ask customers to wear masks where it is necessary to comply with local laws or guidance. Vehicles will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected overnight and between different groups. 
     
    Our policy to allow at least 1.5 seats per passenger ensures the coach never feels crowded. Hand sanitiser will be given to the group on each embarkation and vehicles will be ventilated prior to passengers boarding.
