Meet the Team Behind Your Adventures

At Wendy Wu Tours, our team isn’t just experienced — we’re genuinely passionate about travel and here to make your journey unforgettable, from the very first chat.

We’ve explored the wonders of the world first-hand — sailing down the Mekong, gazing over Machu Picchu at dawn, hopping between cities on Japan’s bullet trains, and enjoying home-cooked meals in far-flung villages. These are the places that have captured our hearts — and we love nothing more than sharing them with you.

Friendly, knowledgeable, and just a phone call away, we’re here to listen, guide, and inspire. No question is too small, and no dream too big. Whether you're curious about a destination, wondering what to pack, or simply want to hear a friendly voice, give us a call — we’d love to chat.

Because for us, it’s not just about where you’re going — it’s about making sure you feel cared for every step of the way.

“Stayed/worked there for 6 months – explored so much of the country – loved the lifestyle, weather, landscape etc.”

    • Next Wendy Wu Tour: Turkey
“So interested in the country as a whole rather than just the coastal regions.”

    • Travel Moment to Relive: Seeing Macchu Picchu for the first time
“It is hands down one of the most awe-inspiring places I’ve ever travelled to in my life. Before this trip, I thought I knew what it would be like, what to expect and the type of things we would see. Once I arrived, it still exceeded my expectations 10-fold. It’s hard to believe that human hands could build something like this, in that location, not to mention before the age of modern technology. The entire time I spent exploring this hidden village was surreal and enchanting. I felt lost in a maze high in the clouds investigating something from another time!”

    • Most Surprising Destination: China
“I had misconceived opinions of China before I visited... I couldn’t have been further from the truth. The country astounded me – green, lush, diverse, ancient, modern and so much more. I was blown away by the whole country and it became one of my favourite countries I have visited. There is honestly no other place in the world like it.”

    • Top Travel Tip:

    • Surprising Fact:
“I have been travelling twice. My first trip was an around-the-world ticket and I travelled for 12 months and dove headfirst into all the weird and wonderful experiences there was to be had.
The second time I travelled I spent 6 months of the year living in New Zealand, working, exploring and, as you now know, learning to ski. The second 6 months was spent exploring Asia.”

  • Favourite Destination: Peru
“Machu Picchu is an incredible place but there is SO much more to do in the country – The stunning Rainbow Mountains, trekking through the Cordillera Blanca, the sand dunes of Ica Desert, the Salkantay Trek, the Ballestas Islands. It’s such a gorgeous and varied country!”

  • Travel Moment to Relive: The Milky Way on the Salkantay Trek
“Had a little post-hike rest in my tent, but it went dark so fast that when I opened the zip to come back out, everywhere was pitch black and the Milky Way was sprawled across the sky. The shock of it being there so unexpectedly, and so clear and bright, was just one of my favourite moments. It was utterly beautiful!”

  • Most Surprising Destination: Bolivia
“I was looking forward to Bolivia before I went, but it wasn’t until I started exploring, I realised how many quirky and unique places there were. It turned into one of my favourite countries in the world with its very alien looking landscapes and dramatic scenery.”

The people were incredible and the landscapes absolutely stunning.”

“Always wanted to visit South Korea but haven't made it as of yet. Feels like the right time to be next on my list! ”

“After a 3 and a half week overland trip exploring the vast wilderness of Mongolia where we wild camped, stayed in Gers and with nomad families, got stuck in rivers and had every weather condition you could possibly think of, it was a highlight climbing up the iconic Genghis Khan statue and capturing a group selfie! What made it even more special was I did the trip with my dad!”

  • Most Surprising Destination: Japan!
