La Boca is Buenos Aires' most colourful and vibrant barrio and, thanks to the Genoese immigrants who came to live here in the 19th century, has a strong European ambiance. Here, the best thing to do is stroll down the main thoroughfare, La Caminito, enjoying performances of music and tango and browsing the tango-related souvenirs.
