This picturesque falls, located 30 kilometres outside Luang Prabang, tumbles through a beautiful tropical forest setting. From the main falls, the water collects in a series of striking turquoise pools, formed from travertine, which are perfect for a refreshing dip! For those feeling active, it is possible to climb up beside the main falls, whilst for those looking to relax, staying beside the main pools is the place to be. After admiring the lovely setting and the water cascading from pool to pool, have a wander through the Asiatic black bear (moon bear) Rescue Centre, to meet the bears rescued from the illegal wildlife trade.
