Beyond the Brahmaputra

Our Tour: Good

An excellent way to visit some of the less travelled and more remote corners of India. The cruise element of the tour is exceptional offering comfort, expert guidance and a touch of glamour while cruising through the spectacular Assamese countryside. The Himalayan element was more challenging with some long drives along mountain roads but again with expert guides and drivers. Travelling in India always brings it’s challenges and this was no exception, largely due to unseasonal weather but that’s what makes for memorable experiences.

Zero hygiene meant 9/14 were Ill for 4 days or more, and no wildlife skills within the safari guides and drivers meant little or no wildlife encounters.

Have just booked so not been on the trip yet so can't speak about that experience. Booking was easy and the advisor was helpful. Their experience of going on similar trips helped. Booked at an event so got extra discount and lounge access. Can't wait.

We are well traveled and found that Inspiring India was the best experience of escorted travel. The quality of accommodation, services, food and especially the people we encountered was second to none. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, personalable, friendly, but not overly familiar, going the extra mile whenever required.

We travelled to China with you in 2018 which was excellent and we were unsure if this tour would be as good, but it was even better. We had 11 days of absolutely "Wow" - the tour completely exceeded our expectations and we plan to visit India next year with you. Thank you.

It has taken until now to face writing a review on this tour.
This was a badly organised trip by Wendy Wu, the local guide said it could not be delivery as stated. He rearranged it as best he could, but there were many early starts and finishes to fit it in.
I know that we had to be flexable with arrangements but this was just inintolerable.
There should have been a health warning of the trip to Varanasi, as it really affected my asthma.
This is the second badly origanised trip by Wendy Wu, and as a consequence I don't thing I will be using them again.

We have operated this itinerary many times and unfortunately as we did not receive any feedback from yourself or your fellow travellers during the tour, it is difficult for us to look into the details so many months later. That said, we completely understand how disappointing it must have felt for you at the time.

India is a remarkable but also challenging destination, and we do ask our customers to be prepared for changes and flexibility due to the nature of travel there. However, our belief is that the itinerary was carried out as planned.

We are especially sorry to hear that the visit to Varanasi affected your asthma. Your health and comfort are very important to us, and we will take this feedback on board to ensure we continue providing clear guidance to future travellers about what to expect.

We regret that your experience has left you feeling this way, and we do appreciate you sharing your feedback with us.

However, customers service knowledgeable & friendly. The agent knew what weather was going to be like & how fit we needed to be. Tour offers everything we want. More or less all inclusive (with exception of tips)

The best priced holiday for India that I could find, as a solo traveller. I asked what airline they were using for this holiday and when I heard it was BA, I asked if I could fly Virgin instead. They instantly accommodated me and got me great seats on my upgrade.
