A picturesque town, situated in the Caucasus mountains of North Armenia, and aptly nicknamed “Armenia’s Switzerland”. This beautiful, serene city has cobbled streets lined with wooden buildings, a welcoming and friendly community and a beautiful National Park that borders the city. There are many cafés and restaurants offering you the opportunity to enjoy a variety of traditional dishes, cooked with local organic produce.

Known as a spa resort and with a rich historical culture, Dilijan has plenty to offer visitors from traditional craft workshops, to exploring the near-by monasteries and churches, which include the Hagartsin Monastery and the church of St. Gregory, to nature walks and hikes in the surrounding National Park. These mountains are rich in springs of healing mineral waters and Dilijan is one of the most famous.

With all these wonderful attributes making the city of Dilijan Armenia’s gem, it is a city not to be missed.
