Our Tour: Excellent

Really good and well organised tour. From the moment you arrived, with someone waiting for you, to the point you were returning home, somebody was there to walk you through process to get you checked in. "Frank" the tour guide was very, very good. Very knowledgeable, always approachable, and very helpful.
The places of interests on the tour were well chosen. Hotels chosen were clean and modern, with the staff very friendly...no complaints at all.
Traffic in Shanghai and Beijing at times was heavy, (even from somebody comes from London), but that's obviously out of Wendy Wu's control.
Would definitely recommend Wendy Wu, and this tour. Go for it.

We had a fantastic time. Our tour guide was superb, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and humorous.
The hotels were excellent and so was all the food.

This was our first trip with Wendy Wu tours and it’s worth every penny.

They did everything they could to make this tour as memorable as possible, from personal pick up and drop off at the airports, arranging all the best sights, transport, food, knowledgeable local tour guides and just making sure that every single minute was a pleasure.

We started in Shanghai, then flew to Xian and finally took the bullet train to Beijing before coming back to the Uk via Hong Kong.

All credit to Louis, our hugely knowledgeable tour guide, photographer, interpreter and nanny. His hard work made this tour run like clockwork and we always felt safe and looked after where ever we went.

Go to China, the people are friendly, welcoming and they truly love their country and it’s amazing history.

Nothing was left to chance and all accomodation, meals, planning, attractions, transport and most importantly the quality and friendliness of your guides was first class. Thank you for making our trip to this fascinating country a first class China Experience. Our Guide Ken was outstanding in his knowledge, calm and efficient way of dealing with people and all situations. He is a credit and valuable asset to your organisation. He worked very long days and was more than capable of solving any issues that arose. We had not been on an organised tour before and didn’t know what to expect. But his professionalism and friendly disposition made for a most enjoyable and informative tour. Thank you Ken you made it so worthwhile. Congratulations WW Tours you have a great product that is delivered by first class guides that are a credit to you organisation. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

A comp0rehensive well organised itinerary. Some very long days interspersed with adequate rst times. Good value for money though one or2 minor issues could be adressed .
The Box meal on arrival at the Holiday Inn Shanghai consistrd of a Subway Sandwich and a Pepsi, highly unmsatisfactory. The Holiday Inn Shanghai was the poorest of the hotels.
The Guides were good giving much insight and detail/

An excellent holiday made brilliant by the quality of the 4 tour guides.

The only black mark was the unethical behaviour of British Airway who sell more tickets than they have seats resulting in passengers being told that they are not guaranteed a seat despite having paid for the flight months in advance and an additional 180 GBP for seat selection.

Wendy Wu - A China experience with Hong Kong in focus extension beforehand October 2024.
An amazing holiday, in which I briefly visited four large cities and saw the highlights of each - Hong Kong, Shanghai, Xi'an and Beijing.
Good hotel choices, great food (western palette, nothing odd - which was a relief, in fact many dishes were suitable for vegetarians).
Just long enough at each site, it's as much as can be achieved in 12 days.
Thanks must go to national guide Gary and local guides Troy, Eileen and Jade - as well as the rest of the tour group, who made the whole experience enjoyable.
