A truly magical trip inside a magnificent country.
The trip from start, Beijing and finishing in Shanghai we covered vast distances ( quickly I my say) and saw a wonderful array of sights never to be forgotten.
This is ablely managed by Jason our magician of the tour guide , who is then further assisted by local guides you are extremely knowledgeable of their region to help you grasp the current region or historic issues and enhance your enjoyment, which they certainly did. Jason just makes all the various things that need to happen with the group, happen, he does professional behind a extremely well organised iternary and trip.

Excellent time in China, good itinerary, accommodation and travel arrangements covering many diverse areas of China. Our national guide, Jason, was first class. He went out of his way to ensure all arrangements were completely satisfactory for all the guests and ensured that all had a safe and fantastic trip.

The tour guide Jason was top class.

Couldn't do enough to help everyone on the tour. He helped me solve various issues.

The itinerary is also excellent. That's why I picked this trip.

I do feel they could vary the style of eating more often or even reduce the amount of included dinners. Because every meal was included it almost became monotonous than something special. Several In the group chose to skip included meals at times.

Hotels were excellent apart from in Shangri-la. That one was so hot in the room and temperature couldn't be adjusted. But that was the exception, all other hotels were excellent.

They delivered what I hoped for and they were very good with the visa service too.

A comprehensive opportunity to see the principal historical sites, towns and varied landscapes of both China & Tibet. Bullet train journeys added to the sightseeing enjoyment of the holiday. Our guide spoke very good English and was often able to expand on the more recent political history of China & Tibet. The tour schedule could be somewhat physically tiring at times but meals were good and cuisine varied. Hotel accommodation was also good. We would really recommend the optional Sichuan Opera performance we attended in Chengdu.
Our particular highlights would include The Great Wall, The Terracotta Army, The Li River cruise, Pandaland, Lijiang, Shangri-La, Lhasa and the Potala Palace and the final evening cruise in Shanghai.
Using the internet was problematic and we were unable to use the recommended Chinese WeChat & AliPay phone payment systems but Yuan paper money was always accepted and in some locations Western credit cards and ATMs were used without problems.

Visited all the iconic sights at an enjoyable pace. We included Tibet as this was a great opportunity to see this wonderful place. A real eye opener to the various Chinese cultures with attentive and very knowledgable guides. The tour that kept giving. Loved it.
