I would like to thank George, our national guide, and all of our local guides (Max, Helen, Susan and Oscar) for making this a truly special holiday that I will always remember fondly. The tour was packed with so many highlights from scaling the Great Wall, riding on bullet trains to cruising amongst picturesque limestone karsts. In each region we were able to sample local cuisine, all of which was delicious. Meals were provided on a lazy susan so everyone had a choice of spicy/mild food; it also meant that dining was social, and it was a lovely way of getting to know everyone on the tour. I was extremely impressed with Wendy Wu Tours and look forward to my next adventure with them!

A wonderful and informative tour. It was well organised with a good schedule. The tour guide was excellent.

The tour, itinerary, details, organisation and guides were all excellent - hence the 5 star rating. HOWEVER the
Holiday was impacted somewhat negatively by a couple of guests who were unsuited to the itinerary, the walking, steps etc all of which had been highlighted. Due to the infirmity of the couple, there were two incidents which necessitated calling an ambulance. This is unfair to other guests and the guides.
A system needs to be devised which ensures that all guests are able to participate in all activities or are accompanied by friend who will support them. All guests pay the same amount and are entitled to enjoy the holiday.

This was a very enjoyable and interesting holiday. However, a little more free time would have been good and I found it a much more demanding trip than I had anticipated. I discovered that the activity level advertised was greater for clients booking in Australia than for those of us booking in the UK.

The China by Rail tour covers so much ground starting in Shanghai finishing in Beijing.The tour is very well organised and fully inclusive of all meals. Takes in all the main attractions throughout China. It's quite hectic and you are constantly on the move. National Guide Franki was first class.

We had an amazing holiday, seeing things that we hand only read about or seen on YouTube. We had never been on a group tour before and didn’t really know what to expect. The other members of the group were all great to get on with and our National guide Amanda was excellent and I would like to say how professional and friendly she was. The organisation of all the tours was brilliant and I would definitely recommend Wendy Wu. The local guides were also very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. We will look forward to booking another holiday with Wendy Wu.

The holiday in Namibia is full on and although one is not doing the walking and trekking that would suggest tiredness the dirt roads in which your transport travels makes for a rollercoaster ride. The landscape is stunning and animal life in the reserves abundant allowing for close, but safe contact with elephants, Zebra, Giraffe and Warthogs. We also had access to a Cheetah sanctuary and a distant but confirmed view of lions and a rhino!
An added day to allow for a period of 'chill' would have been appreciated by all.
Travel to and from Namibia was via BA who were shockingly bad. But the holiday was overall "wonderful".

Holiday was very good. It was listed as Level 1 and I think should have been Level 2 as there was a few times when the walking was uphill and quite steep. We had internal flights which seemed to take all day and could have been earlier in the day

We thoroughly enjoyed our Wonders of China tour. The organisation was excellent and our guide, Hoffman was superb as were the local guides. The tour gave us a great opportunity to see the principle sights around China which we thoroughly enjoyed.
The hotels, apart from the one in Beijing were excellent. The cruise accommodation was disappointing, our room smelt musty and the thermostat could not be adjusted. The food and staff on the cruise were excellent.
The food and choice of restaurants were very good and Hoffman went to great lengths to ensure my wife who is vegetarian was catered for. Thank you.

Overall the holiday was very good. We saw the wonders of China as detailed on the itinerary led by our tour guide Sharon who was excellent. The logistics of the trip were first class with flights, trains and buses all on time. The local guides at each location were also excellent with detailed knowledge of their area. We paid for upgraded hotels and were not disappointed. The only problem was that given the busy itinerary we did not really get the good of them. Breakfasts at the hotels were all excellent. We would have given this holiday an excellent score if it had not been for the food at lunch and dinner which was very repetitive and often not to an even a good standard. As mentioned earlier we paid for upgraded acommadation and we were expecting the food to match. Not sure why we could not have eaten in the hotels we stayed in as on a couple of occasions we were taken to a local restaurant before checking into the hotel which on one occasions was at 10:00pm

The tour gives a comprehensive insight into both an ancient culture and a modern thriving economy. The transport and accommodation arrangements were excellent as was the overall organisation and smooth operation throughout. The national and local guides were very professional, efficient and patient and spoke good English -nothing was too much trouble for them. This is a long and perhaps tiring tour but extremely fulfilling.
