    TRAVEL TO YALA NATIONAL PARK

    Your adventure begins with a scenic journey from Colombo to the southeastern edge of the island. Make your way to Tissamaharama – the tranquil lakeside town that serves as the gateway to the park. After checkin enjoy your first dinner surrounded by the sounds of the wilderness. (D)

    WILDLIFE OF YALA

    At first light, you head towards the park gates, entering just as the sun rises over the horizon. The golden hour brings the bush to life. With an expert guide and tracker at your side, embark on your first game drive through diverse landscapes – open plains, rocky outcrops, and dry forest teeming with life. Keep your eyes peeled for Sri Lanka’s Big Five: the elusive leopard, majestic elephant, shaggy-coated sloth bear, powerful buffalo, and stealthy crocodile. (B,D)

    SAFARI

    Your second day of safari brings a deeper sense of connection. With greater awareness of the terrain and its hidden signs, venture further into the park.
