My husband and I had an amazing holiday in Japan with Wendy Wu. Our guide Yuki was so helpful to the group, she was amazing - providing information about the places we visited, answering all questions, and if someone asked a question she couldn't answer immediately, she would do some research and come back the group with the answer. The bus drivers were polite and respectful, their ability to get the bus around tight corners in busy narrow lanes was truly an art and we would clap our appreciation of their skill in keeping us safe. Visiting 7 of 26 World Heritage sites and all the gardens with Sakura everywhere was fantastic. The hotels we stayed in were clean and well placed, staff were helpful and courteous. The Japanese style meals were fantastic, oishii! Thank you Wendy Wu.

The Wendy Wu China tour far exceeded our expectations in every way, thanks to our National ****** Addison and the local guides we met along the way. Every aspect of the tour had been carefully thought out and great care taken to provide us with a diverse and interesting picture of China. The places we were taken, the experiences we were given and the culture we observed were fascinating. Each hotel we stayed in on our tour was first rate and we travelled in comfort by coach with first class drivers. I could not recommend this tour more highly as Addison went above and beyond to accommodate everyone in the tour group, always with a smile nothing was ever an issue. Japan was more of a contrast to China than we expected, Sumiko was a great National ******, very knowledgeable about Japan and went the extra mile to ensure we were all happy. My hats off to Sumiko for being able to get the whole group around Japan without any local guides. Even when things came up out of Sumiko's control she managed to find away to work around them. Highly recommend this tour

My wife and I went on the holiday to China 6-20 Apr 26 and had a really wonderful time. Our guide Linda, really made the whole holiday extra special. Our time was well planned, well organized and well supported with all the extra local guides Linda used for the whole of the holiday. She organized extra shows and activities that gave us a real taste of her country, and the food she chose for our lunch and dinner meals gave us a broad choice of local regional dishes from all the places we visited. For the 2 weeks we spent in China Linda managed to cram in everything I had on my `bucket list`and a lot more besides. China is a vast country with lots of fascinating historic and modern sites to see. The initial cost of the holiday may seem expensive, but once you see what is included in the cost, it is worth every penny. My wife and I enjoyed this holiday so much we are now looking into visiting Japan next year (2027), thank you Wendy Wu for a really great holiday, with lots of wonderful memories.

Fabulous company Mina was an amazing guide. The chance to look around the sights by yourself after good explanation. Good hotels and food . Opened my eyes to Japan and planning to return. Now thinking of booking China with them next year.

Japan Uncovered was an excellent and well organised tour and Akiko our guide was superb. Only comments would be for more evening entertainment and a few more Western food options for those who do not like fish or tofu.
Gems of China was again an excellent and well organised tour and the options for evening shows gave a the trip a fuller program. CiCi our guide was fabulous and the local guides also added to the whole experience, will recommend both tours to family and friends.

A full on 21 day tour of castles, shrines, temples, gardens, sights and experiences from the comfort of the trains and coaches.
Our guide Mami San was fantastic throughout keeping a close eye on the itinerary and the group whilst imparting insights and information about the wonderful culture and history of Japan.
The tour takes in not just the major cities but historical towns and places within the 3 main islands that make up Japan. The food was amazing with many different types of food with breakfast, lunch and dinner all catered for and the hotels were really nice. All in all a fantastic way to explore the wonderful islands of Japan.

We were so lucky with the cherry blossom and a cloudless Mount Fuji but Wendy Wu did the rest. Our guide, Emico, was superb and the places we visited were fascinating and informative.
I’m ready to book my next holiday with Wendy Wu.

We enjoyed every aspect of this tour. It was expensive, but the hotels and meals were excellent. We experienced so many things we would never have done on our own. The guide was knowledgeable and nice. She shared stories of everyday life in Japan. It was great. We recommend this tour very much.

Such an amazing tour of Japan with a fantastic guide.

Bullet trains, castles, cherry blossom 🌸 , shrines, temples, cities, coast and countryside. We really did see it all! Great experiences from fan painting to sushi making, carving sake cups and Japanese calligraphy.

Well organised and informative tour with excellent tour guide Okasan outstanding. Hotels reasonable standard.
Evening set western style food menu at Hotels poor, particularly at Washington Hotel Tokio. However, non hotel restaurants for both lunch and evenings to experience Japanese style menu very good.

What a great tour of Japan. Very interesting including many of the must see sights with a detailed explanation of the culture, and many samples of the extensive range of food.
Very well organised.
